Considering the high cost of staffing and turnover, organizations of any size need to be able to quickly and efficiently hire good talent. Organizational leaders need to know how to be effective in staffing to meet business needs. This course prepares students to administer all aspects of staffing including; planning, sourcing, recruiting, assessment and hiring. The course also covers legal aspects of staffing, aligning staffing plans to business needs, and staffing systems.

Course Learning Outcomes

At the completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Develop a strategic staffing plan
  • Align staffing strategies to business goals
  • Analyze a firm's staffing plan for potential legal issues
