Rebecca Stewart, NPC graduate and practicing attorney
I highly recommend NPC to anyone who is interested in learning about the law/legal profession. My courses were taught by licensed attorneys who gave amazing insights into the practice of law. The assignments were comprehensive and made me a better legal researcher and writer.
Because of NPC, I was able to complete my degree while working full time. Furthermore, thanks to their incredible faculty and my mentor, my GPA was high enough to help me earn a 75% scholarship for law school.
Working with NPC’s enrollment and financial aid office, I was also able to pay for the entire program while I worked. Because of this, I had my undergraduate degree paid for by the time I had completed my first term of law school and did not have to worry about looming undergraduate loans like most of my classmates.
While I was in law school, I was able to make law review due in no small part to the extensive writing and researching experience gained at NPC. The courses and assignments I completed at NPC put me a step ahead of my classmates in so many areas. Without that experience, I would not have graduated law school with honors, nor would I have booked as many classes as I did.
I am now running my own law practice as a licensed attorney in Michigan. I would not be where I am today had I not signed up for NPC’s undergraduate program. As an attorney, and an employer, I will always recommend NPC to anyone looking to become a paralegal or who has law school aspirations.

I negotiated the purchase of my first home as an informed educated professional in May of 2022. I entered purchase contract in December of 2021 in my final year as a graduate student with NJU. Using legal research skills in the field of real estate, I determined the specific requirements of the particular loan packages that lenders I shopped adhere to when qualifying a loan request. I negotiated with agents, contractors and lenders to varying degree through the process. I took a leadership position assembling and steering a team that resulted from interworking professionals. My education at NPC and NJU enabled skillfully navigation though a complex process. My persistence in understanding the useful viability of this acquired knowledge and the willingness to use it on my own behalf resulted in a successful negotiation that extended for 5 months from initial contract signing to closing. A single (EDUCATED) mother with honest modest means, I was able in part with guidance of NPC, to realize the American Dream. I am an independent advocate and primary agent on my own behalf. In many ways, the education I received with NPC made this life advance possible. I truly appreciate all the support and encouragement that allowed me to grow. I have dealt with housing insecurity during my time as a student yet through wifi and sometimes just a tablet, I was able to rely on the continuity of instruction and extend it onto my personal growth. I'm so thankful.

I began my journey with NPC in March 2018. Throughout my professional career, I have always worked in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster and was always intrigued with civil and criminal law.
Attending NPC has taught be so much about our legal system, courts, rule and procedures that must be followed. I was really impressed with the time and attention each professor spent reviewing the course material during our interactive classes and their wealth of knowledge.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention NPC's amazing mentor program. My mentor Leah was AWESOME. She was always available via e-mail to answer any questions or concenrs regarding my assignments and/or exams. She was very thorough in her explanation, and very patient and understanding. Her communication skills via e-mail were excellent, and she played a big part in my success with my Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies degree.
I'm grateful and thankful to have had the opportunity to atend NPC, and I would recommend NPC to my family and friends.

NPC developed and honed my critical thinking and communication skills. The legal knowledge that I’ve gained is invaluable in my current role, as I more effectively understand and communicate with lawyers, execute enhanced analyses of laws and regulations from a risk and compliance perspective, and consult lines of business regarding regulatory controls, policies, and procedures. All thanks to NPC, and the rewarding lessons — both from a life and subject matter basis — learned throughout my college career.

NPC has been a great school for me since the second I enrolled. The staff has been amazing, and I don't think I could have completed my associate's degree without the support of the staff and the student mentors. Online classes and recorded classes/materials were an extreme help for someone like me who has 2 full-time jobs. I started at NPC in November 2019 while working as a legal secretary, and I'm graduating in July 2022 as a paralegal. Thank you NPC and staff for the interactive and amazing lessons!

Everything I have learned at NPC and NJU has given me the confidence to continue my education, and I got accepted to attend Concord Law School and begin in May. I have been a stay-at-home mom throughout schooling and am looking forward to applying all your wonderful school has taught me going forward. Thank you for your entire platform of education. It was easy to get into the groove of.

NPC’s online graduate legal studies program was a great experience for someone like me who went back to school after a nine-year break from undergrad while working full-time at a law firm. Everyone from the staff, professors and student mentor displays a sincerity for students’ success and comprehension of the material presented. It was a bit tough in the beginning to wrap my head around the legal concepts (Hornbooks), but through perseverance and support from my mentor and other NPC professionals, the courses became easier to organize and understand which helped lead to my successful completion of the program. I am so grateful for the time spent learning at NPC and look forward to seeing all the ways this valuable program will benefit me in the time to come. Thank you all!

Working a full-time job and going to school is never easy, but with the way that NPC is structured, I was able to maintain my full-time job, have a normal family life, and earn my associate's degree. Due to my attendance at NPC, I was able to make the transition from my previous job at a pharmacy to working in a courthouse with the county clerk. I was offered the job during the interview due to my attendance at NPC and because I showed an understanding of law, which I owe to the instructors who hosted the classes and my tutor. At the beginning of the program, I was not sure what to expect, but the instructors and my tutor were very helpful and informative through the entire program. Though the material was difficult at times, I grew a deeper passion for law because of the different branches of law that each class covered. I still have not decided if I will continue my education to earn my bachelor's degree, but if I do, I will most definitely come back to NPC. I feel that I have gained a good amount of knowledge from NPC, and I can say it was the best decision I could have made to help my career move forward and help me achieve all of my personal goals.

I didn’t know anything about the legal field prior to NPC and spent a lot of time job searching. When my current supervisor heard in our interview I was getting a degree in paralegal studies, she decided to take me under her wing and train me from an assistant to a real paralegal with my own case load. I loved NPC; it is absolutely perfect for a working student on a budget while still giving me an even better experience (and assistance!) than I had at a private university. My degree was affordable and actually usable in the current professional field, unlike the bachelors in history I almost put myself in debt for. Society tells young people we need a four-year degree (which usually means life long debt) to be successful. They’re wrong. Technical degrees with a specialty like the ones NPC offers are the best decision you can make for your future. Now, I’m 21 and financially stable with a great job that will never stop being necessary!

I am very pleased with my experience at NPC. I really enjoyed how the classes were set up and felt that it helped me to accomplish my goals. I know that when I obtain employment, I will be successful because of my education through NPC.

I had been a legal assistant (secretary) here for 10 years, but after getting my certificate at NPC, I was promoted to paralegal. Then, after just a few years, I was promoted to legal administrator (and retained some paralegal duties as I am the subject expert in several areas), and now supervise other paralegals! Thanks to NPC for launching a career I never thought I would see.

National Paralegal College holds a special place in my heart. I graduated high school in 2005 and I have been to several different colleges, but never felt like I belonged there. I struggle with learning disabilities and most of the colleges I went to did not have the time or resources to help me. I was just another student number to them, but NPC is different in so many ways. Before my first class ever started my student mentor reached out to me to let me know that she was there to assist me in any way possible. When I started to struggle academically and rersonal situations came us that made my grades fall drastically, to the point where I was going to be dismissed from the school, I had a dean reach out to me to offer assistance. The entire faculty and staff at NPC genuinely care about each student and the success of each student from the start of the program to after graduation.
I graduated from NPC on July 7, 2020, and in the middle of December I landed a position at a Civil Defense firm, and a huge part of me even making it to the interview process was having my degree. I started on January 5, 2021, as an Office Support Specialist and everyone was so impressed with my abilities that I have moved up to Legal Assistant less than 6 weeks after being hired. I owe so much of my current success and future success to National Paralegal College.
If you have tried other colleges before and are on the verge of giving up, I urge you to give National Paralegal College a try before you give up. They are superior to the rest.
Autumn McGill, NPC student
This school has some of the most prestigious and knowledgeable attorneys in the nation, teaching paralegals exactly what they'll need to prepare them for their careers. I couldn't have asked for a better quality of leadership and professionalism from any institution, in all my years of experience. I'm so happy with the education that I received, I have decided to transfer my credits from my associate's to a bachelor's degree.
Thank you, NPC! You made a believer out of me!!
Sandra Vos, NPC and NJU graduate
I began my NPC journey in 2014 as a single, newly divorced mom in my upper 50s. Balancing school, homeschooling my youngest through high school, getting him on his feet and out on his own (now he is deployed overseas with the Army National Guard), re-entering the workforce, moving to another state and opening my own tax and bookkeeping practice, and all of the emotions that go with all of the above, has been a challenge at times, but the one constant has been NPC and NJU. Six years as a full time student - sometimes done well, and some times barely done, but always done. Today I finished my final exam to complete my Masters in Taxation degree. Wow! What a feeling!
To Deans Stephen Haas and Jeremy Rovinsky: Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've had both of you as instructors, as well as interacting with you in other ways. Your love for this school and the students here shine through in every interaction. It has been a pure privilege to get to know you, and to learn from you. Thank you for the opportunities you have given me, and the unwavering belief you had in me, even when I wasn't so sure of myself. Your text, Basic Trust Drafting, will have an honored place on my bookshelf :-)
To all of my instructors and graders: Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. This has been the adventure of a lifetime, and each one of you have been an amazing tour guide along the way. I hope to stay in touch with as many of you as possible through social media or otherwise. You are amazing people who pour your hearts into sharing your knowledge with us. I have learned from you not only academic precepts but also principles I have put into practice dealing with my own clients. There are simply not enough words to express my gratitude to each one of you. If any of you finds yourself in my neck of the woods, I'd love to break bread with you.
To my fellow students who have shared many classes with me: We have laughed, we have learned, we have shared a common goal. I learned from you, as well. We have some great thinkers who pass through these virtual halls. I just wish I could give you hugs and well wishes in person, but that is not our environment, is it? Best wishes to you all.
To students coming behind me: NEVER QUIT. If you need help, reach out to your mentors, your instructors, your fellow students. If you just don't understand a concept, find a YouTube video on the subject. It is amazing what information is out there at our fingertips. As you can see from above, I have a very busy life. There were days I just could not get it all in, especially during tax season. These classes are set up such that you can work around almost anything. Try to keep up with your work, but if you just can't, use a few days of your extension - yes, it costs points, but it is certainly better than not completing the class you have invested in! Give yourself grace and don't demand perfection from yourself all the time. YOU ARE WORTH THE EFFORT!
Thank you for indulging me while the past six years flash through my memory. I did it. I really did it. I started this trying to figure out who I was, and I have found me in this process. Whatever am I going to do with all the time I just freed up? Begin to figure out what I really want to be when I grow up!
Wishing you all the best life has to offer!

Thank you for your emails regarding career service opportunities. I am currently finishing my MPA with Webster University and I just recently accepted a job offer which I start next week as a paralegal for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. Again, I would like to thank you and the continued support from National Paralegal College for the wonderful legal education I received and the continued support from the career assistance department for emails with current job opportunities.

NPC was definitely a game-changer for me. While I have my undergraduate degree in business and legal Studies, I really wanted to gain more knowledge through a paralegal course. I needed something that was affordable, and could fit into my busy schedule. NPC allowed me that opportunity. The quality of the education for the cost is so worth it, I gained many valuable skills during my time spent at NPC.
While the course were challenging, I was able to access assist when needed. Being able to watch the lessons on my own time was extremely beneficial. Sometimes I would listen to the material while driving - through Bluetooth, of course.
I recently accepted a legal administrative assistant role with one of the largest law firms in the state of Delaware. I am so thankful for the experience I gained through my time at NPC, and I know the completion of the course helped me pursue my dreams of entering the legal field.
Career services at NPC was also a huge help; Amy always checked in and offered to help me with my job search. She provided excellent tips and edits for me to really make my resume stand out and highlight my skills.

My experience at NPC has been excellent. I was blessed with an exceptional mentor who encouraged and supported me every step of the way. I like that the professors are practicing attorneys who were able to share professional experiences and examples that supported what we were learning.

I have loved NPC and everything that I have learned. It made going to school very convenient for someone who works a full time job and made it possible to earn a degree. All of the professors and graders were amazing and I learned a lot. The coursework was not only educating but was at a level in which the average person could understand. I definitely plan on continuing my education with NPC and applying to the master's degree program!

DeDe, I just wanted to say thank you for being such a great instructor. I'm on my last class for the certification... and I just wanted to say thanks. I was extremely nervous heading back into school again. The last time I took classes was in 2000 and the phrase "online classes" and cell phones really weren't a thing back then. My first class was with you and the world of immigration, and your style of instruction fit my brain. I felt relaxed, laughed and learned! For that, I am extremely thankful. My husband used to ask me: Why do you like Dede's style of teaching? I would tell him that even though we traveled to many, many different states (of law), she always reminded me of my final destination. We might have been in Iowa, but I knew we were heading to California. You have an uncanny ability to bring whatever example you're using to explain trespassing back full circle to Torts. Hope that makes sense. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you. You made my experience with the world of law fun and interesting.

My experience at National Paralegal College have been nothing short of amazing! When I started my associate's degree in paralegal studies, I lived overseas. Being able to exclusively use the online platform let me work on my degree without any issues, which was important because I was on a 17-hour time difference! I was able to complete the degree and move seamlessly into my bachelor's degree when I was ready. When I relocated back to the States, it was a smooth transition and I didn't experience any lapses or setbacks.
I really enjoyed my experience at NPC; every area I interacted with was a pleasure. My teachers shared their expertise and kept class engagement high (which I'm sure isn't easy when you aren't all physically together), and they brought an energy to the subject matter that just can't be matched. The administrative staff was always quick to help and were very responsive. I can't complete this testimonial without giving a huge shoutout to the mentors. The mentor program at NPC is truly unique; having someone in my corner helped me work harder, not just to get a good grade but to make my mentor proud.
Never did I think I would be someone who could graduate with honors, or even consider getting a graduate degree. But here I am, living the dream and expanding my horizons! I'd like to thank NPC for giving me that gift.
As I start my career in the legal field, I bring with me the knowledge and confidence I gained from National Paralegal College.
Thank you for everything, NPC!
Judy Sanderlin, NPC graduate and paralegal
When I first began NPC, I intended to complete my associate's degree in the hope that I could be promoted within my firm, and then be done with it. At the time, I was my firm's receptionist and didn't know much about the law. It had been years since I was in school, so I was quite nervous and anxious to get it over with. My very first class was taught by DeDe Sandler. DeDe makes class fun and informative, and truly made me feel like my success was all she was after. After class, I felt more comfortable, and to my surprise, all of the professors who teach at NPC are just as amazing. The work at NPC is challenging, engaging, and very relevant to what I needed to do to further my career in the legal field. I eventually received my associate's degree and my promotion within my firm, but NPC made me feel confident enough to want to go further. Why not next pursue by bachelor's degree and then law school? That is precisely what I did! I am currently a litigation paralegal, and I start William S. Boyd School of Law in August of 2020, all thanks to NPC and its excellent staff. NPC was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Naomi Moskowitz, NPC student
Being a student at NPC has been such an incredible experience for me. There is a wide variety of interesting classes to choose from. The teachers are engaging, approachable and really there for you as needed. When I started at NPC, I was assigned a mentor who helped me acclimate to the school and was such a great resource for me as I got used to doing assignments and taking exams. One of the most important features of NPC, something that has really made my education possible, is the fact that I can take classes on my own timetable. As a full-time working mother of 4 children, the flexibility of the program is something that was vital to me. Getting my bachelor's degree was something that felt like a pipe dream with my hectic and full schedule, but with the recorded classes, easily accessible learning materials, and the ability to log into class from anywhere, I am excelling and almost at the finish line. Thank you, NPC, for bringing my dreams to reality.
Anne-Marie Shaffer, NPC student
Everyone has been amazing to work with at NPC! Someone was always there to walk me through the entire process and to let me know if there was an issue that needed my attention. My professors are wonderful. My mentor has been invaluable. I think every school should be this awesome. I'm already feeling like I will get through this successfully and that I might want to pursue a bachelor's degree.
